Essay “Literary drugs”

Imagine building a literary character from feet up or heads down, like on your own body fully functioning and structurally formed as we like it, and like a dealer deals drugs passing it on onto other people. How do I mean it? I’ve read in a essay about buddhism that the guru always leaves the student in the state that he currently is in for the student to outwitt it further on to reach enlightement and ofcourse for the guru too to go on further on into hisown exploring. That way we could deal our own or other authors characters onto other people, leaving them in states that we already built up and made accessible to other people too who might be our readers or supporters or sheer foes too. That would be maybe called literary buddhism or some form of a zen buddhism tehnique. But the problem lies in the “how to pass it on?” question. Really, how? Ususally it is done by character analisis in literary science and descriptions and explanations. But what I mean is enrolling ourselves fully in the role of the character as we were them, acting them out in real life in front of real people, fully identified with them, ofcourse with the distinct feeling and thought that we are preforming it, that we really are not them, so not to get big time deluded about our real selves. That I mean in Jungian terms of the “Hintergedanker” that means a thought or feeling way back in our minds that we might identify with our real selves, that one which keeps us doubting and questioning reallity and all it encompasses with itself. That way we will not lose ourselves in the confusion like in Bergman movie “Persona”, but hopefully we will deal away in public what we built for others and ourselves. But we too need to be careful, that we ourselves and them don’t end up like sheer experiments of ourselves and others, but to be more profound about it to build up a new, better and more evolved society, system and alike than it’s current state of affairs is. We could reach that way what Fukoyama proposed with the “End of history and the last man” or the “Ubermensch” that is “drink the nectar of gods” as Hesse puts it. That way we leave the public, that is those who we preformed infront and still were ourselves, in a more profound state of mind, by that preformance we dealt away all the built up characters capabilities as described, analised and preformed, and its quirks, witts, shortcomings, qualities, pros and cons and alike…. But not just that, we could deal away old and novel structures of full literary opuses and singulary works which we prepared by reading ofcourse, which may sound simple, but what other way to prepare it than by reading with the methodology literary science has already developed like analisis and critique etc. That way we have ourselves a new type of “enjoyment in literary texts” and working on them with our “bodies without organs”. So people read on!
